The patented Gap Guard system features two braces that hold the bedrail tightly against the opposite side of the mattress. The bedrail is 56 inches long to provide maximum coverage, while the sidewall is 20 inches high, so it can accommodate the thickest of mattresses. Not only does the bedrail meet the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) standards and is certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA), it's also PVC- and lead-free.
